Picture:
Name: Amira
Species: Cheetah
Gender: Female
Age: 3 and 1/2 years
Personality:
Amira is a smart and stealthly cheetah. She has a sort of "athletic ability" that makes her good at all, but perfect at nothing. She does, however, excel in climbing. To her, it's survival.
Amira can also be angry and aggressive if you provoke her. She can have a bad temper on bad days. Even on a good day, don't mess with her. She is like a bomb, waiting to explode with teeth and claws at anyone who cuts the wrong wire.
But she can also be sweet and funny when you get to know her. Amira can be quite random at times, but she always has a purpose. Most find that quite humorous. And if you become a friend, she will become the helpful, supportive friend any cat wants.
Description:
Amira is a lithe and light female. She has a long tail that balances her during her runs. Amira's legs match her tail and body. They are long and skinny, able to carry her at top speeds. Her anatomy is basically that of an average cheetah.
Amira's fur has a downy feeling to it. The top layer is slightly course, but anything after it is soft and fluffy. Sometimes, this can be a problem in the heat. But lying in the shade cools Amira off quickly. Her coat holds a natural cheetah pattern. Ebony spot and a golden base. But her white underbelly extends only slightly longer, reaching the bottom of her shoulder and curving down her body.
Aside from that is her facial features. Amira has reddish brown eyes that twinkle when she is happy, or darken when she is not. They reflect her every emotion, causing her to be a very predictable female. Her head is rounded and her about is short and square-shaped, like a normal cheetah. So far, she has no scars or injuries.
History:
Amira's life started out.... Rough.
The female Cheetah was born into a litter of 3. As a cub, Amira was the one who had some play in her, but knew when to grow serious. She played with her two brothers, always winning their wrestling games. Whether or not they let her win, Amira gained pride put of it.
One day, when Amira was on a hunting lesson with Mom, a thunderous roar sounded. Amira wasn't sure what it was, but her mother apparently knew. She was instantly swept off towards the den by her scruff.
Amira bounced against her mother as they moved. It made her dizzy, but she managed to stay awake. The roar was a thunderstorm. And it wasn't coming easy. Amira and her mother had barely slipped into the den before the rain started. It came upon them like shards of rock. It stung their faces and eyes. The den was not deep enough to protect them.
Slowly, the family starved. Her brothers died first, then her mother. Amira was grief-stricken. But she had to live. So, using her learned knowledge and courage, Amira braved the rain and managed to snag a lost, baby impala. It opened her eyes to the real world, and made her realize that she could live here. On the plains.
