Name: Roza
Species: Jaguar
Gender: female
Age: 4
Personality:Roza is generally, very easily described. In one word, she is lazy. She only moves to get bare essentials, like water, and to hunt. Other than that, she is mostly very relaxed. She won’t move for anything that she might need, only what she knows she has to do. As a result, she lets most things get by, not minding if others encroach on her territory,(She never checks it anyway XD) just minding if they bother her, or make her life harder. Generally, she is very easy going.
She loves slightly colder than usual weather, like rain and the cold. It makes her life easier as her thick black pelt means she feels quite warm all the time. Roza is very hardy, though, and generally doesn’t mind anything. One will usually find her up in a tree, though, as it is cooler up there. She is a cat that won’t hesitate to chase after a dead foal and eat it, but she will hesitate if the foal is being guarded by something else. She is pretty non confrontational, though if she sees what she thinks is an easy meal, she will go and get it.
There is no good or evil in this cat’s mind, just the question of which will take the least effort. Though other cats generally mind their own business, she doesn’t really mind when they come over and will not hesitate to start up a pleasant conversation. She hates it when the said cat starts saying things like “You know, you really should do more, and not take … for granted etc.” That is one thing she cannot stand. As she puts it, “If I am not pointing out your flaws, there is no reason whatsoever to start pointing out mine.” Though, generally, insults and jeers roll off her back as Roza is exceptionally thick skinned.
She is also optimistic about most things, seeing as if there was to be a hurricane, she would go all “oh, a hurricane. Ah, well, at least there will be a breeze.” Generally, she doesn’t care much about others, and doesn’t mind them doing whatever unless they are purposely trying to be annoying.
Generally, when others ask her to do things, she either ignores them, or acts like a child, unless you are her friend. It is hard, not that she doesn’t wish for a friend, but most find it hard as her nonchalant attitude kind of irritates them, but if you actually manage to mean something to her, then you will have accomplished a breakthrough. Roza would get off her butt and do things and help you if you ask, but will grumble quite a bit. She generally bears no prejudice against others, and treats them all the same way.
(Wow that was long XD )
Description:
Roza is no ordinary jaguar. She has a pelt that is black, with darker obsidian rosettes blooming on her body. The rosettes are a little hard to see seeing that the normally gold background is black, but they are there, should you look close enough. Her build is generally well proportioned, though her paws are ever so slightly too big for her body. Though she is a female, she is slightly larger then normal jaguars, towering ever so slightly over males. Many have questioned it, though none have actually found an answer. Roza merely accepts it. It makes her unique, after all.
She has a silky black pelt that grows shaggy in the winter. The windows to her soul are a beautiful copper, that adorn her face gently, not her most prominent feature when you look at her, though it is at night, with the rest of her camouflaging with the black swath of sky above. They have been described to be the shade of a new penny, and always seem easy going and gentle, but when enraged, though rare, they seem to have a fire sparking in them in anger. They are very expressive, and usually show her emotions clearly.
Her ears are rounded, her body structure normal for most jaguars, with a long tail that casually winds around her, tapering to a point. It usually slithers around on the floor, like a snake, giving a few flicks every now and then. However, when angered, they lash around in anger. Her tail is her second most expressive part of her body, the first is, of course, her eyes. They were not named the windows to her soul for nothing.
Her paws are soft, her claws normally sheathed, so she walks around very quietly, rare for her large bulk, but helpful to her in hunting. Her teeth are sharp, having not being worn down by battle yet. All in all, Roza is rather unique.
History:
Most wonder what happened to Roza to make her who she is today. The answer, however, is surprising. “Nothing.” It’s an answer that rings true, yet has many layers, many subtle shifts and prods.
Roza was born in her litter of three, being the only black jaguar, her mother was a little shocked at first, but she loved the little one for her uniqueness. Naming her Roza for the delicate rosettes adorning her pelt, Roza grew up with a male named Patch and a female named Sparrow, as she had an odd way of walking, she walked with a spring in her step, a walk that seemed to hop, almost like a sparrow’s. She loved her siblings, but they continually ignored her for being different. Her mother gave Roza love as she felt guilt for the child, but Roza just got teased even more. She generally just decided to not care about them, and just live out her life, at the same time building a wall, that shielded her from insults for times to come.
She was generally happy, not really minding anymore when they excluded her from their games, instead just doing whatever she needed to. But she was lonely. Though that didn’t matter too much, when she left to establish her own territory, she wondered to herself why she did things. She ate because she was hungry, drank because she was thirsty, but why establish a territory? Why keep others out? Why do this, or that?
Not finding an answer, she just stopped doing it. For these past two years, she has made friends and enemies, but gradually, they left, and she didn’t mind, continuing with her easy going life and loving it.
